Build Your Own Cajon!
I figured it would be more fun and cheaper to make my own Cajon. I sourced the following measurements from the Internet and stained the box with beetroot juice.
Plans: 2 x 300x476x12mm & 2 x 300x300x12mm Birch Plywood, 1 x 300x500x4mm Birch Plywood (backplate), 1.5m stick of 12x12mm (or up to 20mmx20mm) pinewood, 1 x 300x500x3mm Okoume Ply for the tapa or front panel, 14" Snares (cut in half), Wood Glue, Sandpaper, drill, wood rasp, 3x16mm wood screws (50), 3x25mm wood screws (25), Beetroot juice, Wax
